About the Journey
Trek Leader

Difficulty Level
Intermediate
Covering 19 miles and over 3,000 feet of elevation gain, this intermediate-level trek invites you to rise—physically and spiritually—as we transition from the introspection of Av to the renewal of Elul.
See the trail map here. Backpack, sleeping bag, and sleeping pad are required. You may rent them from us, or purchase and bring your own.
Location
We will be hiking Pharoah Mountain, which is located three (4) hours from NYC near Lake Placid, NY.
Spiritual Theme for this Event
Time to Rise Again
As the month of Av gives way to Elul, we rise up once again—shedding our layers and preparing our hearts for renewal. Each step ascending these breathtaking Catskills peaks echoes Avraham’s Lech-Lecha call: to go inward, forward, and upward. In the stillness of nature, we awaken to the soul’s quiet invitation to return, reflect, and begin again.
