About
Adventure Camp
Lech-Lecha Adventure Camp is more than an outdoor adventure - it’s a transformative Jewish journey.
From rock climbing to Torah study, from canoeing to baking challah in the fire pit, from building a shelter to building community, adventure and tradition come together to shape stronger, more connected Jewish leaders.

Jewish Life
Shabbat
Teens have a chance to create Shabbat themselves, building an eruv, baking challah in a fire, and preparing our space, all while exploring why.
Pluralism
We accept teens who come from families of all religious practices and encourage campers to find their own connection and comfort level. We believe that allowing Jews to interact across the religious spectrum is an important part of cultivating a connected and unified people.
Shomer Shabbat & Kosher
Our program observes halachic Jewish laws, ensuring that we keep a shomer shabbat environment and follow the laws of kashrut (specifically, we follow the guidelines laid out by the Chicago Rabbinical Council – CRC)
Education
Our staff are passionate people who enjoy engaging campers on topics spanning life and Torah as they use Torah values to inspire, connect, and understand the campers.
Israel
Many of our staff are from Israel and have served in the IDF. We stand with Israel and support and believe in the importance and vision of a Jewish state. We seek to facilitate meaningful conversations about Israel with the campers.
Morning Practice
Our campers join together each morning in prayer, song, stretching, and meditation. Some of the practice is communal and for the personal prayer time, we encourage them to find a practice that feels meaningful to them.
