Lech-Lecha Adventure Camp takes place in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley, just 1 hour from DC.
Adventure Camp gives Jewish teens a safe, guided two-week experience of canoeing, backpacking, and rock climbing in the Shenandoah Valley, balanced with meaningful Shabbat rest in wilderness cabins and hostels—helping them grow in confidence, connection, and Jewish identity.
After each Shabbat at base camp, campers set out in small groups for a week of immersive wilderness adventures, camping under the stars and exploring breathtaking landscapes. At the end of the week, everyone returns to home base to reconnect, share stories, and recharge in a comfortable setting before the next journey begins.
Safety First
Your teen's wellbeing is our top priority. With robust safety measures and expert trek leaders, you can be confident that our campers are in expert hands.
Professional Guides
Highly experienced counselors with Wilderness First Responder (or higher) medical certification.
GPS Tracking
Our team is always connected and trek leaders are equipped with advanced 24/7 satellite safety systems.
Parent Updates
While campers are encouraged to put away their phones, our team provides real-time updates to families.
Small Groups
Only 10-15 campers per group means every voice is heard and campers are closely supervised.
